I’ve always had a deep connection with both pet parents and pet relations, starting my career in retail management before shifting gears to the financial sector after studying Accounting at Niagara College. However, it was my volunteer work at the Humane Society that truly redirected my focus towards our four-legged friends.
My journey led me to work at Doggy Day Cares, where I not only immersed myself in obedience training but also earned a certification in canine behaviour and obedience. This experience was invaluable, especially when I contributed to developing the “Meet Your Match” program at the Humane Society/Animal Control, assessing pets’ behaviours to aid in their adoption.
Before joining NOAH, I managed a fast-paced Veterinary Hospital in Ancaster for six years. This role cemented my belief that veterinary medicine was the perfect career path for me, blending my love for animals with my knack for building strong relationships with my team and pet parents, and advocating for our furry patients.
I’ve spent nearly my entire life in Hamilton, ON, known as the waterfall capital. My world revolves around my young son, who lives with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, also known as Brittle Bone Disease. Despite his condition, he’s a bundle of energy that keeps me on my toes. Together, we relish our time outdoors, swimming, exploring our cultures, and enjoying County Fairs with all the delightful foods and animals they offer.
Our home recently became quieter after we said goodbye to our 170lb Neapolitan Mastiff, Azure, and our leopard gecko, Croissant. Now, the reigning monarch of our household is a black and white cat that my son named… you guessed it: Oreo.
